Mouse Guard: Fall 1152 has quickly become one of my all time favorite comics. It's a compelling story with endearing characters. Peterson's grasp of the comic form is masterful.

Cerebus begins as the story of an aardvark adventurer turned mercenary, turned prime minister, turned Pope. And then it goes from there. Cerebus is a quaint shaggy-earthpig story, an amusing parody of European history, and much more than could be pinned down.
